Red Lobster cheese biscuits

These cheese biscuits taste just like the Red Lobster ones. Mmm, mmm, MM! They may not be healthy, but they are so good. Eating one/two is not allowed in my book. Try three or four, and you'll literally be CHEESin!

INGREDIENTS:

2 1/2 c Bisquick mix
1/2 stick salted butter (4 tablespoons)
1 c grated sharp cheddar cheese
3/4 c cold whole milk
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Brush on top:
2 tablespoons melted
1/4 teaspoon parsley
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine bisquick mix, and butter in a mixing bowl with a fork. Do not mix thoroughly as there should be small chunks of butter the size of peas in there. Grate cheddar cheese then add it in the bowl along with the milk and garlic powder. Mix by [clean] hand until combined, but don't over mix.

Use an ice cream scooper to drop dough on an ungreased baking sheet.

Bake for 15-17 minutes until top of biscuits are golden brown.

When you take the biscuits out of the oven, melt 2 tablespoons butter in a small bowl in your microwave. Stir in ½ teaspoon garlic powder and the dried parsley flakes. Use a brush to spread this garlic butter over the tops of all the biscuits. Use up all of the butter. Makes one dozen biscuits or about 20 small sized ones as pictured.
