Filipino flag cake pops

I'm making Filipino flag cake pops for the Carson Filipino Community Dialogue going on this Saturday. Some of my coworkers, former students ,and classmates from UCLA are attending but unfortunately, I'll be out of town...jet setting. :) My sweet replacement would look something like this:

The design shouldn't be too hard as the technique is similar to the groom pops I made. Stay tuned....more pics to come!

Just in case you're in the area..

...and here they are! Do you see what's missing? If you're Filipino, you should know this one.
A second pic to come...
So if you didn't catch it, the stars were missing. I tried piping yellow candy melts to make stars, but it didn't turn out nice. Thank goodness Ralph's had star sprinkles.

  2. Hi! I baked the cake, rolled 'em, and dipped them in chocolate 3 times--one white, blue, and red. I added candy coloring to get the blue I wanted. :)
